Single Ply roof types include: EPDM,TPO,PVC.
EPDM
EPDM, ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber, is a strong, synthetic rubber roofing membrane appropriate for flat or low slope applications. EPDM rubber membrane stays flexible in frigid temperatures, resists cracking, withstands UV damage and offers an affordable roofing option with long lasting performance. EPDM is extremely durable with an average roof life expectancy of up to 30 years or more if maintained properly.
TPO
TPO Is a thermoplastic single-ply roofing membrane made from polyprophylene and ethylene-propylene rubber used for flat roof applications. TPO is available as fully adhered or mechanically attached systems. The white reflective membrane is energy efficient, keeping the roof cooler during high temperatures reducing building operating costs. TPO is highly effective in resisting debris, dirt, UV and chemical exposure. It is a flexible membrane that withstands punctures and tears. TPO premium quality roofing is engineered to provide an average of 15-20 years protection with a reinforced, protective top layer.
PVC
PVC is a thermoplastic single-ply membrane made from Polyvinyl Chloride reinforced with polyester or fiberglass mats for flat roofs. PVC reflective roofs offer strength, durability, reduce cooling costs, conserve energy consumption and increase roof life cycle. PVC systems are watertight, resistant to fire, moisture and wind uplift due to heat weld application. PVC roof membrane systems offer up to 20-30 years of protection and have over 50 years of proven history in the industry.
